Vehicle description
Vehicle Details 1968 Chevy Boyertown S Van Here is your opportunity to own a truly “one of a kind” vehicle. To my knowledge this is the only one left of that era. This van was made by the Boyertown Auto Body Works in Boyertown, Pennsylvania. This company primarily made commercial delivery vehicles, such as bread and milk route delivery trucks. I discovered it neglected in a field with a tree growing through it and lovingly refurbished it over 10 years into the stunning, patriotic show stopper it now is. See the “before” and “progress” photos. This van always gets attention with its red, white and blue colors, silver stars, eagle and American flag. On the front is the statement, “America, Love it or Leave it!” The sides and back state, “These Colors Don’t Run.” This beauty is a source of pride at car shows and parades and has won numerous first place trophies including Best of Show at the 2018 Kruise of Klamath in Klamath Falls, Oregon. This gorgeous Boyertown Multalloy S Van has a full-sized bed that descends over the custom blue and ivory seats, refrigerator, double sink, TV/DVD, speakers, mirror, wooden storage cabinets, closet and even a portable toilet. The flooring is a black and white checkered pattern and accents are diamond plate. It has custom made cover “eyes” for the windshield for sleeping privacy. Engine: 383 stroker, 400 turbo transmission with a shift kit, 2-1/2 inch drop spindles, power disc brakes, rear end 308 gears. Custom American wheels. For more detailed information, look up Boyertown S Van on the internet. When that comes up select Boyertown Body Works. That will bring up a Coachbuilt article. Scroll down to read the whole history of Boyertown van bodies that started their business in 1872. For more information call Jim or email [email protected]. Update! I have decided to add the custom utility trailer as a bonus item to this listing. I customized an antique light blue Pepsi machine into a utility trailer for extra storage or camping equipment and built in a hidden 1,000 watt Honda generator. The trailer has diamond plate and a metal American flag and metal eagle on the back. The Boyertown van and the utility trailer are a matched set and look beautiful together rolling down the road.
