Vehicle description
1968 Nova Super Sport Clone, Frame off restoration complete Spring 2012, 3,400 miles since restoration. Car was originally white with green interior. Car was soda blasted to bare metal then painted by local body shop in 2011, Ocean Pearl Blue (PPG Paint). There are a few minor imperfections in the paint. Front fenders and 4-inch cowl hood are new AMD metal. New floor pans. A patch panel was installed on the passenger rear side. Trunk pan had a few pin holes and was sand blasted and repaired with POR 15 then repainted original spatter paint. All new wiring installed. All new interior to include sound deadener on floor. All interior parts are new or restored. Restored items include 1968 correct dash clock rebuilt, steering column rebuilt, all dash knobs re-chromed. All new rubber seals for door and windows to include rebuilding door vent windows. Motor is a 383 Stroker built by a professional engine shop in Kinston, NC. Eagle forged rotating assembly, Mahle pistons, Hydraulic roller Comp Cam, 75cc AFR aluminum heads, Edlebrock RPM intake with a Holley 700 double pumper. All MSD ignition system. Quick Time blow proof bell housing. Transmission is a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed with an Inland drive shaft. Rear is a Currie 9 inch with 4.11 gears. American Racing Rims with Mickey Thompson Tires.
