This is one of the nicest LS powered 68s you will find on the market at this price!
As pictures will try to capture this cars panels are nice with SMOOTH contours and nice lines! The panel gaps line up very nicely and the paint that was laid out over this body is nice. . is it perfect, heck no, but it looks dang good and the price reflects that! If you are looking for a show quality LS powered 1st gen this is not your car. If you are looking for a solid, LS powered driver you have found it!
This modern twist to restoration is exactly what everybody wishes there restoration would drive like! The glass is all clear and easy to see through. The fit and finish on this vehicle is nice! This car has a HUGE chunk of change and time invested into this build.
The interior is NICE from a set of re-covered seats and rears to match. The carpet is ALL nice and free of stains. The gauges are as clear as can be and all work as they should, The dash is nice and the door panels have been reworked. Everything on this interior is nice. Inside and out this car is very nice and solid!
As you pop the hood you will notice an underside of the hood and bay have been painted Cortez to match the exterior! Between the fenders rests a nice mild build 6.0 with a cam! It is paired to a Huges built 400 transmission that shifts smooth as butter! In the rear you will find a pozi 10 bolt that hosts 373 gears. With this combo you have the best of both worlds, an fun car that can also cruise on the highway! This car starts with the turn of a key and NO need to pump the gas. It runs extremely well and drives nice! The custom exhaust has an incredible lope at idle and only gets better as you get into the gas!
