I have up for sale a very nice 1968" Chevrolet Camaro SS 327. This car is believed to be a true SS 327 car, however with the way Chevrolet documented their muscle cars it"s tough to verify without a build sheet or if you are lucky enough to find the person who bought it new. I believe it to be true and real from a few of the items on the car however again, I cannot be 100% positive of that fact. If it happens to be a True SS car then it"s just an added bonus to an already VERY nice and CLEAN 68" Camaro. The body tag verifies this car was an original vinyl top car, and original red bucket seat car. The Sheetmetal is all original and the floors are in excellent shape. This car has no rust. Very Solid. The engine is a stock 327 with the exception of an upgraded 4-barrel aluminum Intake manifold and Carb as well as a dual point distributor vs. a single point. I will include a factory 2-barrel intake and 2-barrel carb for someone wanting to put it back to original specs. It does have a 10-bolt rear end, and this Camaro is equipped with power brakes as well as power steering. All of the turn signals and gauges work and illuminate. This car has been sitting in a heated garage and the last time it was out on the road was 2011. We pulled the car out of the garage, changed the gas tank, went through the carb, and checked brakes and installed 4 Brand New Coker Redline Tires sit mounted to the Rally Wheels. The odometer reads 59,000 miles and this car handles and drives like a 59,000 mile car. This car drives and handles exceptionally well and the power glide transmission shifts flawlessly. You can get in and drive it anywhere without hesitation. This car also has the bigger 3/8 fuel line from the factory vs. the smaller 5/16. The interior is in great shape as well as the exterior paint shows extremely well being an older restoration. The body on this Camaro is very straight.
