The car is powered by a 1600cc 4 cylinder engine mated to a 4 speed Getrag gearbox. The car is an absolute blast to drive. The reason the 1600/2002 were so popular was because of the way they handled. They used independent front and rear suspension unlike cars of the same era that used a solid rear axle. The independent suspension allowed the car to drive like a go kart with incredible response and handling. The interior of the car is spotless.
