Vehicle description
Up for your consideration is a 1 owner fine example of a restored to original 1967 Volkswagen Beetle - referred to as the famous Bug. The Pale Blue exterior and the Black interior are in spectacular condition and this classic Bug runs and drives precisely how it would have when being driven off the lot brand new in "67. This car has 34,168 original miles.
Here are some notes from the seller:
One owner car purchased in Salt Lake City Utah. Numbers matching engine and transmission (we have the paperwork). Title is free and clear and this car was only driven in the summer.
In 2000 it was repainted to the original color and everything was re chromed
including the bumpers. New interior was installed.
Brought from Meridien, Idaho to Newport Beach in September of 2020.
Rebuilt transmission, pressure plate and clutch with all new German parts, replaced front and rear shocks. New rear brakes with new cylinders. Replaced all hoses, spark plug wiring, belts, distributor and rotor caps in engine with new, changed oil filter. Car has been gone over completely and anything that needed repairing was addressed.
What makes a 1967 year model so special? 1. Last year of the cool bumper with the integrated reverse lights. 2. The first year this model was converted from 6 Volt to 12 Volt. 3. First year that the 1500 cc engine came as standard equipment in North America. 4. The generator output was increased from 180 to 360 watts. 5. Upgraded Headlamps. There were several other upgrades from the VW factory in "67.
Don"t miss the opportunity to own this gem. These VW"s in this type of condition continue to grow in value and this one is no exception. This is most definitely is a must see in person vehicle.
