Vehicle description

1967 Spitfire. Correct Mileage unknown. Assuming over 60K. I have put 4000 miles on it. odometer shows 30K . I purchased the car over three years ago and repaired her myself. This is a driver. Not a trailer queen or show car. I have driven this car to New Hampshire and up to Montreal with no issues. Back roads of course. Here is the list of things done.
1. New Alternator converted from dynamo. The original generator converted to alternator eliminating the voltage regulator.
2. New points and condenser. Delco Distributor.
3. Wires and plugs.
4. Removed all carpets and sealed floors. Carpets are out. never put new ones in. I personally don"t ever use them because of humidity issues on these cars.
5. miata seagts for comfort. Have the buckets but they need work. (frame, upholstery)
6. New cables for speedo and tach -both functioning.
7. New wood for instrument clusters. Walnut.
8. New Bushings front and rear as well as shocks. Wire wheels. Came with car.
9. New motor mounts and tranny mount.
10. New Clutch slave.
11. New Valves and springs. Compression 155 to 160psi each cylinder.
The trunk was also sealed by the previous owner. no carpets either. Has a spare and aftermarket jack.
Has bumps and bruises, paint chips. Very minimal rust on rockers and throughout.
Top is in decent shape. No leaks, but i never really drive in the rain. But have tested when eashing by hand. Newer tires.
Does like a bit of gear oil in tranny and rear diff. i just top it off every season. Its British so you know they leak. don"t let anyone tell you any different. I have owned many Brit as well as old American cars. They all leak. Comes down to manufacturing tolerances.
