Our GTO was manufactured at GMs Fremont, CA assembly plant on 12/09/66. Only 8.5% of 67 GTO production was the sports coupe; fewer still had 4 speeds. This GTO is finished in period correct Mariner Turquoise paint with vinyl top & matching correct turquoise interior. The engine is the 400ci Pontiac 335hp that Pontiac began using in 1967. Our GTO has the original laser straight rear quarters with GM stampings and all sheet metal is original. Our 67 GTO was a Concours Gold Winner in the 2013 GTO Nationals. Even though it was beautiful it was not up to the previous owners standards so he then re-restored the GTO. We have all of the original invoices for the restoration process. The full interior, exterior and mechanical was restored to be perfect. The carpet ,seats and seat belts were painstakingly color matched. The transmission was rebuilt and even a rear posi was installed. The headlight bezels were re-chromed. The red fender liners were added for wow factor. A vacuum gauge was installed because it was a popular option of the era. An input jack was added to the radio to play music from/through a phone. The 67 tach was tracked down and installed. The Carter Quadra jet carb is period correct. The presentation under the hood is period correct including a new chrome oil cap. The exhaust tips are also period correct. The gas tank is non ethanol. A lot of love went into the no expense spared restoration of our beautiful 1967 GTO!
