Vehicle description
This Grand Prix is fairly rare, as there was a limited production run in 1967. This was the only year Pontiac offered a convertible Grand Prix and only 5,856 were built. The vehicle is in very nice, original condition with excellent paint, and makes a great overall presentation. The vehicle is very well equipped with many power options, such as windows. It also boasts the original drivetrain.
Exterior Color/Condition: The vehicle’s paint code is “R” which is Regimental Red, the original color. The paint is in very nice condition. The vehicle is stored indoors and has only been used for pleasure driving. No rust was observed. The body is in very solid condition. Interior Color/Condition:
The vehicle retains its stock Parchment trim code 585 interior, which is original, clean and in overall good condition. It is very well equipped, with the optional floor shift center console, tilt steering wheel, factory bucket seats, power antenna, power top and 8-track player. It is equipped with a stock AM-FM radio and a working 8-track player. It has a factory steering wheel and factory floor shift.
Mechanical Condition: The vehicle has the original 400 Pontiac motor that puts out 350 HP. The motor is in very good running condition and just underwent major service. The vehicle is very roadworthy, fun to drive and draws attention everywhere it goes. It has belonged to the same owner for over 20 years and has been well maintained. The transmission is a 3-speed automatic that shifts nicely with no issues. It retains the stock rear end, with rear drum brakes and power front disc brakes, power steering and a throaty-sounding exhaust system. All lights function properly, including the flip-up light covers, and wipers are in working order.
Overall, this is a very solid 1967 Pontiac.
The glass is clear, the power windows work and the power top goes up and down with ease.
The top is in usable condition, but new fabric will be needed in the future.
This vehicle is one of only 5,856 built . Overall, it’s clean, runs great, is loaded with power options and is ready for summer fun - like trips to the ice cream shop.
No disappointments for a 54 year old classic
