Vehicle description

 (877) 399-3176 (877) 399-3176 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Exterior Color: Blue Interior Color: White Body Type: Convertible Transmission: Automatic Drivetrain: RWD Engine: 400ci Mileage: 52,850 All vehicle trades considered, including classics and performance. We can assist with financing and transport as needed. The 1967 Grand Prix convertible is one of Pontiac’s most beautiful creations, and this one does not disappoint. It is simply one of the nicest examples you will find. With its gorgeous Tyrol Blue paint along with a white top and interior, this beautiful car is in fantastic condition throughout and includes plenty of original documentation. It is also quite rare; despite 47 years of continuous Grand Prix production, only 1967 saw a convertible with fewer than 6,000 produced. This car is obviously the result of great care and has been garage kept its entire life. It was built in Kansas and delivered new on December 17, 1966 to a man named Richard. He owned the car for more than 40 years when it became part of the Hammack Collection in 2009. It presently shows 52,800 miles which is believed original based on the vehicle’s condition and documentation. It has seen some reconditioning over the years including a high quality repaint and a new white top. The sheetmetal is all straight and original, while the underside looks truly amazing for a car of this age. Be sure to see the pictures! Some of the nice features include cornering lamps, door edge guards, remote mirror, power antenna, and 8-lug wheels. This Grand Prix is powered by its original 400 cubic inch 4-barrel “XH” engine. New for 1967, this was essentially a bored out 389 with improved cylinder heads. It was factory rated at 350 horsepower and an impressive 440 foot-pounds of torque. The transmission is the optional TH400 automatic which feeds the 2.73 rear end (great for highway driving). This car is also equipped with the optional “Wonder Touch” power steering and brakes. Note the optional underhood utility lamp as well. Everything is in excellent mechanical condition as well; it drives like new and offers a wonderful ride, true to the GM land yachts of the 1960’s. The white interior also looks amazing and is the perfect complement to the blue exterior. It is adorned by attractive dark wood accents throughout the dash and center console. The Strato bucket seats are very comfortable while the matching rear bench has an integrated center speaker. Note this Grand Prix is equipped with the optional AM/FM stereo radio which was a healthy $239 option in 1967! It includes the original FM stereo guide / national station directory (all of 7 pages long). The headlights, horn, wipers, and parking brake all work properly. So do the heater, defroster, gauges, indicators, and interior lights. The power top and power antenna both operate smoothly as well. Along with its exceptional condition, this car comes with a bevy of original documentation including the window sticker, owner’s manual, Protect-O-Plate, build sheet, dealer invoice, sales invoice, dealer correspondence, and Pontiac literature. Any Grand Prix convertible is rare, but when combined with all this car has to offer you have one special Pontiac indeed.
