Up for sale is my 1967 Pontiac Firebird convertible that i purchased out of Southwest Florida a few years back from an older gentleman. I purchased it as a project and wanted to make the car into something of my own as a weekend cruiser, unfortunately due to my demanding work schedule, that has sidelined my project.
The car has a black exterior, black top and black interior. The top is new and was installed in April 2018, I also went ahead and had the entire top frame rebuilt and repainted, cables, pulleys, and hardware completely replaced and the motor for the top is brand new and installed. The interior and carpet in the car is also newer and in fantastic shape.
The engine is a rebuilt 350 out of the same era chevy impala and is painted Pontiac blue. Engine runs and will need a fine tuning and a new ignition wired in. The yoke will also need changed in the rear end (previous owner had a different setup) so right now the car has to be pushed around to maneuver.
Car also has a newer fuel tank, exhaust, master brake cylinder and lines. Due to the car sitting, the front disc brake calipers will need rebuilt with new rubber components.
Car has original 15" Pontiac rally wheels that are in good shape, and will eventually need a repaint to make them perfect, tires are also in good shape with plenty of tread.
The car needs repainted as it has small blister looking bubbles in the paint from an older repaint, and small signs of bondo in some areas. The dash will also need painted and the dash pad needs replaced (original pad and cracked from age) The chrome cap on the top of the windshield will need re-chromed or replaced due to its age as well.
The car does not have any Pontiac badging, chrome rockers or fender well trim chrome (it did not have it when I purchased it)
