Vehicle description
Here"s your chance to own a truly great example of American muscle. More rare than its Camaro cousin this was a two year project for my wife who unfortunately passed away from ALS before being able to enjoy it. This car is complete in every respect and needs nothing. More than 80K invested with many upgrades to make it enjoyable to drive or show. Despite having a previous restoration this former HO model with vinyl top was stripped to bare metal. More than 30K in body work and paint alone. Immaculate two tone paint tastefully done with metallic blue over black. Accented with dual silver metallic stripes to highlight that beautiful design. The interior as well was completely stripped, rustproofed and soundproofed. New headliner, sail panel, rear deck, speakers, AM/FM radio with iPod jack. New windshield, gauges, hoses, heater. Sorry no air. New weather stripping and door panels. These cars were adequate for 1967 but todays driver wants better handling and stopping so we replaced all breaks with new discs breaks, master cylinder and break lines. We upgraded the handling with Hotchkis Sport suspension, American Racing RallyII wheels, 16" rear, 15" front. Now the reason we drive these cars. . a performance 400, 325 hp motor, mated to a 3 speed Turbohydramatic automatic transmission. Patriot headers with dual exhaust allow the engine to breath and makes for just the right amount of rumble. Only 500 miles since restoration. You can visit sandovalperformance.com to see their Pontiac motors and I can send you a video of the testing on the stand of the engine in this Firebird. All receipts and original build sheet included. Please contact me with any questions. This car has been inspected by a local Pontiac expert (not the builder) who has offered to help answer questions which may be beyond my expertise. Thanks for looking . Good luck bidding.
