Vehicle description
Selling my 1967 Plymouth Barracuda convertible. A really nice, solid car with low miles showing. It was originally a teal color, but a previous owner painted it yellow. The paint job is older, but still shows nicely. I was planning on repainting it the original color, but health issues have stopped my plans for this car.
It has the 273 Commando engine, Torque-Flite 3-speed automatic transmission and runs great. Recently took a trip to Florida from Texas in this car and had zero issues. i have installed new brakes, all front suspension work, new top and interior as needed. This car was sold new in El Paso, Texas and has never left the South. It has no rust issues but for the little bubbling in the picture as shown.
This car really needs nothing mechanically, but could use some cosmetic touches such as paint touch-up in the interior, etc. Can be driven and shown as is, but is not cosmetically perfect yet. That was my plan. I took care of the mechanic issues to make it a safe and reliable driver.
These cars are very rare as I think Plymouth only built a few hundred convertibles in 1967 and no telling how many are left. They are routinely listed for sale in the $30,000 range and are worth it. Much more interesting than a Mustang convertible which were built in the millions and it never fails to garner attention at local car shows and fun nights.
I will be happy to help load the car should you have your new purchase shipped. The car is in covered storage out of the weather and can stay that way until you can have it picked up - there would be no additional charge after full payment. I require a deposit through PayPal and wire transfer of the remaining purchase price within 7 days. I appreciate your consideration and I am sure you will love this car just as much as I have.
