Vehicle description
1967 Barracuda Convertible. All new sheetmetal, profesionally rebuilt engine and transmission (50 miles ago), new paint and custom interior, new brakes, suspension, Haartz cloth convertible top, etc. This car was almost totally professionally restored but only needs small items such as trim atttached, etc.
This car has Air Conditioning (not hooked up but complete - how rare is that on a 60"s convertible?) and has its original 273 CID engine and Torque-flite transmission. It is a potential show winner and extremely rare. I think only about 4200 of these were made for 1967 and there cannot be many left. Good wheels and tires, more than enough spare parts to complete the car including 2 bumpers, radio, all stainless trim, insignia, etc. Car runs and drives beautifully and can be enjoyed just as it is. Car has a power-operated top. The actual mileage is unknown as the dash has been changed, so is being sold miles exempt because of age.
Almost $20,000 spent so far on restoration. Only a short distance left for a new owner to have an extremely rare and desirable car. Hagerty values these cars in exccess of $40,000 in excellent condition.
Sold without warranty, guarantee or assurance of any kind or type except that it is a good running car needing minor finishing. Car,is sold, as all old cars are, as-is, where-is. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. Car is stored in a climate-controlled covered space and is fine there until you can arrange shipment. Wire transfer, cashier"s check or personal check for payment. All checks must clear my bank before shipment. Please, no funny checks. They aren"t funny.
