Vehicle description
1967 MGB GT GHD3L/126700 Up for sale in my 1967 MGBGT. She has just completed a 2-year restoration. I’ve put a few miles on her in the last few months to iron out any issues and she is just outstanding. She drives true, straight and fast along with the pleasant tone from the exhaust. And here is why: This MGBGT was found in the back of a shop in Southern Utah for over 20 years. There was ABSOLUTLY NO RUST in any of the body parts and only three minor dents. The MGBGT still retains its original aluminum hood. Very solid car to start; although the rubber bit and pieces had seen better days. The car was completely dismantled. The paint was stripped and repaired where needed and new paint was applied. A new chin spoiler was added and affixed properly along with a new front bumper. All new seals, wear parts, and rubber was replaced. Original glass all refitted with new seals. The original steering wheel is fitted. The original Engine was completely rebuilt and runs strong and smooth. Installed high torque starter. New Clutch assembly. The transmission was dismantled, inspected and reassembled with new seals as new syncros were apparent in an earlier rebuild. The front-end member was removed and completely rebuild with new tie rod ends, bushings, new disk brakes and calipers, new wheel bearings. The rear end was removed, cleaned, inspected and all new bushings installed. New emergency brackets and cables installed. New Tires and Battery. The two 6V positive ground battery system was replaced with a 12V negative ground system. All electrical system performs as expected. This includes the Halo front spot lights and LED lighting in the seating area. All new interior. This is truly a beautiful car with its stunning paint and black racing strip. I little bit of Pearl was added to just give it enough sparkle to stand out from the rest of the pack. I have over 325 pictures of this restoration. All documentation of parts purchased and labor. Has a clean Utah Title. This car is sold as and where is. If you have any questions please call. (Mark). Email me for other pictures or videos. Issues: Tachometer is still positive earth 12v. Needs to be replaced with aftermarket Tach or a negative earth model from a later year. 90 Degree Speedometer drive that attaches to the transmission is broken.
