Vehicle description

For sale is a Nice 67 Merc. 390 ci V8, Ps, Pb, manual windows. Not a show car but very presentable. Needs some work to be finished and I don"t have the tools to do it. She needs a section of frame welded and some body/ paint work. See pictures. I am not a body man so the trunk dent and paint bubbles are something I can"t do. I found the frame issue when I was redoing the Master Brake Booster and rear Brakes/lines. It is a section on the passenger side by the rear end. She is drivable as is but should be fixed. The gas gage doesn"t work. I took the Merc on trade and was told the engine/trans/rear were rebuilt, and that mice chewed the wires for the gas gage. I replaced both exhaust manifold gaskets and they were real easy to do, so I believe the engine has been gone thru. The A/C is installed but not working. She starts right up with a fast idle as she should. The convertible top has a small hole from a branch. I was told there are folks that can repair that. Again I am unable to properly fix this. In the trunk photo you will see new front and rear shocks. I don"t have a lift to install these. I have the original convertible boot and rear rubber mats for the trunk. The top goes up and down as it should. I did noticed the trunk pan and rear quartears have been replaced along with the gas tank. Only had the car for a year or so. I"m just tired of working on my back under the car. TRADES possible. Looking for a Camaro/Firebird/ Vette/Mustang with a V8. I do not need help selling the car or any other B.S. you are selling.I am putting this car on the local Craigslist also. I have tried to explain all the issues, which is more than I was told when I got the car. I may be missing something since I don"t have a lift to see the underside completely. Any decent bodyman/welder will easily fix this car. Thanks for looking. I prefer e-mail with 1967 Mercury in the subject line. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY. I don"t want to deal with shipping.Unless you do it ALL yourself. I can"t give shipping quotes. Sorry. Car is located in Bethlehem, Pa.When wad the last time you have seen one of these? Original color was white. Thanks for looking
