1967 Mecury Cougar, North Carolina Title in my name,
History: Family owned car (all ownership has been in my family), bought new in 67, then my dad got it in 73, I got it in 2002, stock until I started project. orginally a factory 289 with cruise-o-matic non AC car factory disk/drum
Modifications: forged bottom end 302 with Holman Moody 351w heads, FMS X303 cam, hedman shorty headers, Edelbrock Perfomer intake, 750 Holley (850 is available, 250 NOS Fogger plate and line - no tank available, 3/4 intake spacer available), high flow racing aluminum radiator for a 1969 with a 390/428, Holley Blue electric fuel pump, magnetic pickup hei distributor, MSD StreetFire coil, Accel 5000 wires, serpentine accessory drive set, battery relocation to trunk (no battery, and + needs the terminal installed at starter end) built AOD, shift kit, kevlar band and clutches, ~2800-3000 rpm torque converter, oversized accumulator piston, trans cooler new fuel tank tube frame from front sub-frame to rear bumper, trimmed front inner fenders 9inch rear with triangulated four link and airbags, 11inch disk single piston calipers, has a 2.73 in it
Coilover strut w/ tubular lower control arm front suspension, 14inch disk dual piston calipers, rack and pinion, new ball joints, tie rod ends, new brake master cylinder and small diameter booster 17x9 American Racing Shelby fr 245/45r17 Sumitomo, 17x11 American Racing Shelby rr 315/35r17 Sumitomo, 0 miles (still have fuzzies)(started on jacks not on tires, no flat spots due to storage) headlight door actuators work but I doubt the cam will generate enough vacuum to work them, sequential unit works, and have a second one to include, 1967 Mustang seats brand new re-covered, side panels in excellent condition, front and rear windows work, also have another set of rear regulators, no cracks in any glass second set of taillights to include, bumpers and chrome in good "driver" condition with no appreciable rusting, just dirty from being in the garage remote side view mirror (from an XR7 I think, base had manual adjustment) assorted hardware have complete dual exhaust as well, needs engine attachment changed from manifold to header
Tons of parts to go with the car; never wanted to sell this car but life has a way of forcing you to do the unthinkable, just want to see her go to a good home, Also I am an expert on this car in every detail so I am more than willing to answer any questions about his car.
