Vehicle Details 1967 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia that was sitting in a storage unit after being painted for about 30 years. Previous owners ran largest VW repair shop in Downtown Houston. They repainted the car with plans to turn it into a track car with racing seat half installed. Unfortunately, it was forgotten and the owner died before ever taking it back out to finish his passion project. Almost 100% rust free besides some surface rust spots shown in pictures! Spare parts and bumpers included with purchase. Things that have been added since receiving car: new carpeting, recovering the front and rear seats in black leather with blue piping, new refurbished VW Bug engine with under 1000 miles driven, new tires, New glass for back driver side adjustable window, and some smaller nuts and bolts on the inside. This is a perfect project car with some of the major headaches already taken car of. This car is fully drivable in its current state but could use an oil change. Only reason I am selling is for lack of time to work on it. Hate to see it go but would love to see it brought back to mint condition. Truly one of the most fun cars to drive.
