1967 FORD MUSTANG FASTBACK 2+2 1968 390 V8 GT Mustang drivetrain with early 60"s Tri Power added and Toploader 4 Speed trans w/ 9" rear diff Was ordered for build by Ford Home Office as " Special Purpose Vehicle" so was built possibly for shows or demonstrator use to dealerships or regional district use. Check out the Marti report as this car was loaded with options when new and was a Candy Apple Red with Deluxe Interior, Air Conditioning , Power steering and Disc brakes C code 289 V8 car originally Drivetrain upgrade installed many years ago . Car will run when carb bowls filled but needs carbs rebuilt to run properly. Car has been stored so fuel line and system needs cleaning Car needs a full restoration to be it"s best Floors need replacing , rear frame rails have been repaired at spring shackles, body has solid appearance but be assured that body panels have had repairs in all the normal areas and will need panels replaced for concourse restoration
