Please read the entire description carefully. This 1967 Mustang Fastback started life as a coupe. Several years ago it was converted to a fastback. The VIN is 7T01T and decodes as follows: 7 (1967), T (Metuchen NJ), 01(Coupe), T (6cyl), 244658 (consecutive production number). The conversion was done exceptionally well and is only noticeable upon very close inspection and of corse by the VIN. The car is driver quality and looks better in pictures than it does in person, I want to describe this car accurately as I"m not trying to trick anyone into thinking it is something it is not. The restoration is older and has flaws that don"t show up in the pictures, it looks great from 10 feet away but has scratches, small blistering and shrinkage cracks in the paint that can be seen when you get up close. The engine runs strong, it shifts easily and stops ok, I have a new master cylinder that goes with the car. The drivers side rear leaf spring has one broken leaf and should be replaced. The carpet is new, the seat covers and dash pad could use replacing. The car had some rust repair during the restoration that can be seen in the pictures, it is solid but not "restoration quality". This is a great cruise night car, and, at the going rate for a real "67 Fastback Mustang, is affordable. Drive the car as is or refinish it to your standards. Please ask any questions prior to bidding. Also, the car is being sold on a transferable NY registration, (NY is a non title State for older cars), IF THIS IS A PROBLEM, PLEASE DO NOT BID.
