1967 Ford Mustang Convertible "T" code. 200 cid 6 cylinder with 3 speed transmission.
This old girl is a very nice survivor. She has the original engine and transmission. Original interior with original chocolate brown dash and original chocolate carpet and saddle seats. Original shocks. Original convertible top cover.
This car was purchased by my father in the late "80s. He was the third owner. She got a new coat of the correct Dark Moss Green on the outside, leaving the factory paint codes alone on places like the engine bay. She also got new chrome bumpers that now have gotten a bit of surface pitting on them. She got a new top with the split folding glass window (it was the plastic rear window).
My father passed and we were going to drive the car more so we spent $3500 in replacing the master cylinder (upgraded to the dual reservoir style), drums, shoes, brake lines, emergency brake cables. She stops great. E-Brake engages perfectly.
The alternator went out and I replaced that. She charges just fine now. The old alternator and the old master cylinder can go with the car if you want it.
Never got around to driving it so we decided to sell.
She starts up and idles fine. Those old sixes live forever. The transmission shifts great.
NO ACCIDENTS. Body is STRAIGHT. NO ROT. Floor pans, rails and all body panels are SOLID.
The 30+ year old paint is still really nice. Only a few tiny chips.
Chrome bumpers have some pitting to them. Might be able to shine them up.
The interior metal panels need refinishing. There are some rust pits starting.
The correct original saddle colored convertible top cover is included. The convertible top is in good shape, no tears or rips that I could find except a few stitches of the back welting needs to be restitched.
She"s Very complete, but needs a little more tlc than we can give. We did clean her up a bit but she could use a good detailing.
