FOR SALE:
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback, mostly original condition. NOT A GT I believe this to be an original stock 1967 Mustang Fastback with a 289-2V V-8 engine, C-4 Select Shift Transmission. Built at San Jose, California 1/26/67. Good running engine and transmission. No modifications to engine or transmission that I know of. It still has the original exhaust, carburetor and radiator. Air cleaner and valve cover replaced with chrome dress-up covers as well as the engine support cross over bars. Bottom undercarriage is untouched and nearly flawless. For its age, some surface rust is detected with a 6” rust blister located on the left inner frame rail at the turn. Please look at all pictures. Both frame rails are slightly out of shape believed to be due to improper placement of floor jack during lifting. Car has power steering with front power disc brakes and rear drum all recently changed and working well. It comes with 1968 14” rally wheels with GT caps. Wheels are BF Goodrich 215/70 R14 recently installed with under 50 miles on them. Outside of the car was repainted some time ago with a complete color change. Original stock color was a “I” code lime gold. Repainted with an Acapulco Blue clear coated in excellent condition. 2 small chips found, 1 on the hood less then 1/16” and 1 on the right-side corner cowl approximately 1/8”. Please refer to pictures. I was not part of the re-paint and can only tell you that it is a very good excellent job. Hard to tell it was ever repainted. GT strips on both sides are decals and not original to car. It has original beauty rings around the wheel wells as well as rocker panel moldings all original and in excellent condition. Interior is flawless with no damage to seat covers, carpets, dash or headliner. All in original condition. Marti report shows an AM radio with the car however, somewhere along the line an actual original ford am/fm radio was installed and is in great working condition. Interior has the back seat option or the carpeted pull-down configuration for more storage behind you. All original glass throughout with the original style drivers side only rearview mirror. All stock original body parts. No accidents, no hidden damage. More pictures upon request. Please be specific. Located in San Francisco, California. Recommend inspection of car prior to bidding.
