1967 ford mustang. Previous owner owned it from 1977 until I purchased it. Was originally a C code 289 and C4. Has been converted to a 351 cleveland and top loader four speed. Also a 8 inch rear end with 3.55 gears. The motor has approximately 2500 miles on it and has 8.5 compression, .550 lift cam, double roller chain, 2v open chamber heads, HV oil pump, eldebrock intake, 650 double pumper and hooker headers with 2.5 exhaust. Trans is a toploader four speed out of a 66 fairlane. Interior is in good shape and the only rust I could find is on spot on the rear pass wheel well and pass door. Floor pans, trunk, are solid even under the battery tray is rust free. Since I have had the car I had the following done. Top loader trans gone thru, bearings,synchros,and seals. New clutch,pressure plate, throughout bearing and pilot bearing. New hurst competion shifter,linkage and adapter plate to place shifter in correct location. All new brakes, front power disc and rear drums. New upper ball joints and a wheel alignment, rest of suspension is good shape. New radiator and hoses, the carb has been rebuilt along with a new fuel pump and gas tank. Also new valve covers, air cleaner and plug wires. New magnum 500 wheels and tires. Car runs and drives well. Will need paint and body along with repairing the shifter hole. Have a shifter tunnel sheet metal to repair. Was cut up to place a indy shifter in it back in the day.
