This is a beautiful, zero rust, matching #s 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Coupe that is ready to enjoy. This is a lifelong California Camaro that still retains it"s original CA black and yellow license plates and has always been garaged. It is a real factory RS, not a clone. I have the original Protect-o-Plate as well. According to the previous owner who had the car for nearly 45 years, the 63k miles are original but I have no way of verifying that. It does drive like it though. The car is as solid as you will find. The body is in excellent condition and very straight. The floorboards, trunk pan, and frame are in excellent condition. The car came from the factory in Ermine White. It has been re-painted once and the paint is also in excellent condition. Orange Super Sport or Z/28 style stripes. There are a few very minor paint chips from being driven, but nothing big. There is a tiny ding from a rock in front of the driver"s side rear wheel that is barely noticeable unless you are looking for it. But I want to be honest and upfront about even the smallest details so you are more than happy with your new Camaro! The original engine is still in the car. It runs beautifully. The engine stamp and the MF suffix code stamping are still very clear on the front pad. It is a factory two barrel 210 HP car but has been upgraded with headers, an aluminum intake, four barrel carburetor, and Edelbrock valve covers. I do not have the original parts. It has a Powerglide automatic transmission, power steering, and power front disc brakes. I can tell you after driving the Camaro today, the car runs great, sounds awesome, and is faster than you expect!
The black/white deluxe interior is in good condition. Bucket seats with center console and factory floor shifter. The upholstery is nice with the only exceptions being small spots where the threads came loose on the very top of the passenger seat and a similar spot on the driver"s seat. Both could be fixed yourself with a needle and thread. The dash has always been covered and is in excellent condition. The carpet is in good condition but is a bit sun faded. The door panels have the typical Camaro fine cracking on the armrest but are still in decent shape and plenty usable for years to come. The rear package tray is faded. Rally wheels with good BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. There is some minor pitting on the bumpers but they still look great for a driver and shine up nicely. The hidden headlight doors work very well.
All in all, this is a gorgeous old Chevrolet that is ready to take to a car show today. While not perfect, this is a very nice car and much, much nicer than alot of the junk that is being sold these days for more money. Clean, clear California title in my name in hand. I would consider doing some horsetrading on an interesting Corvette, Chevelle SS, Muscle Car, or a steel body Hot Rod. Please be realistic with your trades. Just because you don"t want your junk any more doesn"t mean that I do either.
I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or assisting you however I can at the buyer"s expense. Inspections are encouraged but must be completed before the end of the auction. $1000 non refundable deposit due at auction end and remaining balance due within three working days. Payment must be in the form of cash in person or via certified bank wire transfer. I do my best to accurately describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are NOT to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The SELLER shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer"s request prior to the close of sale. The BUYER is responsible for any/all shipment costs involved in transportation of the vehicle. References for shippers are available upon request. This Camaro is being sold "as is, where is".
