UP FOR AUCTION @ NO RESERVE is a SUPER RARE, IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND 1967 Chevelle Convertible 396 SS 350 horse 4 speed original matching numbers car!
SHE IS 1 OF 3307 BUILT FOR THE USA
Built the 5th week in May @ the Fremont California Plant and spent ALL of her life out west until I purchased her locally from a flipper/car dealer who purchased it from an estate in Helena, Montana. This all original survivor retains the matching #"s 396/350 engine and M-21 4-speed Transmission + 12 bolt positraction rearend! She even boasts her original super rare LIST-3837 Holley 4-BBL which I had professional rebuilt locally by "The Big Machine".
This is a TRUE "138" SS396 car with the VIN stamped on the engine block which matches the car, which matches the title. All original body panels. She rolled off the factory floor with a black imitation leather bench seat interior! She also sports her original F-1 Marina Blue paint. I recently had the manual top replaced locally by Innerworx interiors in her original factory color: white. The motor runs strong. Transmission shifts smooth. The reverse lockout works as it should. The factory tach is still functional. The frame/floors/inner/outer rockers are near perfect and RUST FREE. NO CRACKS IN DASH! Steering wheel is in great shape! Probably one of the most solid examples you will find in the WORLD! The passenger door/quarter does have some body damage from someone backing up into it at some point in it"s life. The bottoms of the doors are excellent and very dry! As soon as it quits raining I will pull it out and get better photos.
