1967 Chevrolet Camaro 250 L6, 3 speed manual transmission with factory air and floor mounted shifter options. Matching numbers drivetrain with original rims and hub caps. Frame-off or total restoration including drive train was completed in 2005. Less than 3500 miles on rebuilt car with a total mileage less than 165k. Car purchased from Lewis Chevrolet in Portsmouth, Virginia, June 1967. Car has been maintained and restored as an original vehicle. Only changes include the addition of a performance cam and turbo muffler. Factory AC compressor and hoses have not been purchased nor installed; however, controls under dash have been rebuilt and the car does not require an aftermarket kit to become functional. Approximate cost of AC install is $1200 parts plus labor. Original paint was stripped from car prior to installing similar Granada Gold base coat and clear coat. There are several minor defects in paint job which is around 10 years old. OEM style chrome trim kit has been added to wheel wells since photos. Car is meant to be driven, but still has potential for placement in a car show. Condition of vehicle falls between NADA average and high retail ( http:/ www.nadaguides.com/classic-cars ). Best estimate of current retail value is $27k to $38k. Cost to repair AC, private or non-retail sale, and defects have been taken into consideration for reserve. Total restoration cost excluding labor was approximately $20k.
