OK not really a barn find, how about car port find? Has been parked in car port since 2008. Was a daily driver until starter went out. Owner tried to replace with new starter but left out the shims so it would not work. I am 72 yrs old and this is my hobby not a mechanic but can do a lot of basics. Installed starter correctly and motor would then turn over. I changed oil and filter in engine and transmission before trying to start or move truck. Truck does start and move but needs brake work to safely stop. I replace tires, reupholstered seat new carpet door panels, instrument cluster cover, glove box liner, brake booster. I cut out rusty places in floor and r rear quarter panel. Truck would need to be gone over to drive safely, example, brakes, tuneup, belts, hoses, carburetor rebuild. Engine is a Good wrench 350 don"t know anything other than it runs no knocks. came with factory ac and power steering. Don"t know anything about these trucks, so I don"t really know what else to say. Truck is pretty good shape wouldn"t take much to have it ready to paint. I have several projects ready to move this on and start on a rat rod. make me an offer. $7000 is my reserve price.
P.S I forgot, I have a tailgate, it"s pretty beat up but repairable, I have most of the trim and the felt wipers for door windows, new ant, new dome light and box of extra used parts.It also needs a neutral safety switch, I have one ordered. It not can start in gear. Alabama does not reissue title for old vehicles but I do have a certified and notarized registration sheet from Alabama good for re-titling in any state.
