Vehicle description

This is a beautiful and rare 1967 Bonneville. This is the car that they checked all the boxes on the order sheet including the high output 428 YH code engine. There were only 5000, 428 engines available in 1967 and not all of these were the HO version. These engines all went into full size cars like this one and Bonneville 2 doors, 2+2, convertibles, safari wagons, Catalina. These bodies were hand picked to receive this engine and then got all of the heavy duty equipment to match such as the transmission, suspension and rear end. I don"t have the PHS documents to narrow down the build number but it will be very low. Inside you will find the original interior that has some splits in the fabric but very clean. The dash is complete, very nice chrome, dash pad and wood trim. The carpet and rear shelf are new. The windows all work and seal well, power locks are slow, 6 way power seat is working.
Radio, speed control, heater and AC do not work, blower on front and rear does work. Car has new windshield, new steering wheel, headlight switch and turn signal switch, so all lights are working. The e brake does work. Car passes the strict MA inspection.
The engine bay is very clean. It has has new belts, hoses, oil change and a complete tune up. Recent battery and windshield washer pump.
The suspension had recent spindles; the rear end was rebuilt with all new bearings, seals and the posi-traction shims were set. There are disc brakes up front and the rear brakes are new. The tires are new 225 15 70 on nice rally wheels.
The trunk has been re-finished. It still has the original jack, steel wheel spare and side boards.
The car started out in California but it is now in MA. The frame, floors and seams all show it is a CA car. The bumpers have dings, the front right fender has a paint crack and the right rear dogleg has bubbles. The rest of the paint is still good. This car has never been wrecked however may have been bumped - see bumper dings. The doors all open and close nicely. The Bonneville, Buick Electra and Olds 98 were all built on Cadillac frames. The ride, handling and performance are exceptional with this car. It only has 77000 miles most all of them in California.
As shown it was a vinyl top car that suffered some rust damage around the windshield and rear window where it did leak if left outside in rain. All of the trim is very nice and will be in the back seat labelled and bagged for screws/clips/emblems. I bought a repair piece for the front windshield shown in pictures. You can use as much or as little of this piece as needed. The rear window also needs repairs but I don"t have the patch pieces. The bottom panel between the window and trunk is good.
It is an older custom paint job with ghost flames and satin on the hood and trunk. The paint is close to the original Tyrol blue. It is a beautiful car that is very striking going down the road and an attraction at any car show.
This is a no reserve auction so you are bidding to own this car. Please have your funds in order to pay a $500 deposit within 48 hours which is non-refundable and then pay the balance before shipment within 7 days.
You should ship this enclosed or i can add 4 inch greenhouse sealing tape to front and rear window
