Death Forces Sale Reserve Price Has Been Lowered Car Must Sell This 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT Veloce was purchased new by the current owner, who reportedly picked the car up in Milan, Italy and drove it around Europe for a month before shipping it to New York. The car was cosmetically refurbished between December 2018 and January 2019 with fresh green paint and new weatherstripping, and it features a tan vinyl interior. Power is from a 1.6-liter twin-cam four paired with a rebuilt five-speed manual transmission. This GT Veloce is now offered with recent service records, a spare tire, and a clean New York title. The refurbishment was completed in 2019 and included replacing the rocker panels, a repaint in its original color of Pine Green, and the installation of new weatherstripping. The 15″ wheels wear Alfa Romeo hubcaps and Vredestein Sprint tires. A full-sized spare is located in the trunk. The interior features tobacco vinyl upholstery with patterned inserts on the front bucket seats and rear bench. The cabin also features matching door and side panels, as well as black carpeting, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a Pioneer cassette deck. The dashboard wears a woodgrain finish and houses Veglia instrumentation, including a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and water temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 55k miles, less than 500 of which were reportedly added since the completion of the refurbishment The 1.6-liter twin-cam four is equipped with dual Weber carburetors and paired with a five-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt just prior to the refurbishment.
