WOW ! ! ! ! WHAT A FIND! ! ! ! THIS VW IS A FABULOUS LITTLE CAR WITH VERY COOL DOCUMENTATION! ! ! Purchased from the second owner in Jacksonville Florida about a year ago. He lived in Colorado for several years and he had bought her from a fellow in South Carolina believed to be the original owner. I"m 78 and have wanted a early VW (pre 1968) for many years! ! Unfortunately I should have bought one years ago as I"m just not able to do her justice any longer. SHE IS A MATCHING NUMBERS CAR AND SHE RUNS AND DRIVES REALLY WELL! ! Plenty of power for her original 1300 engine. SHE HAS DRIVER QUALITY PAINT AND QUITE A GOOD LITTLE BODY AND FENDERS. Her interior is very presentable with only the carpet needing some glue in places, also her top is in very good order. All in all a great driver fun car as is, BUT I have bought from the BUG shop in southern California all new bumpers along with sun visors and new floor pans. These items I purchased as I planned to restore her to as new condition. But she has run so well and been so much fun I have forgotten about any type of a restoration. These parts will go along with her to the new owner.
