Vehicle description
This No Reserve Auction is for three Sunbeam Alpine cars. The two white ones have titles and the red one will be sold on a bill of sale only.
PLEASE NOTE: THE BUMPERS ON THE RED CAR HAVE BEEN REMOVED. .OTHER THAN THAT, THE PICTURES ARE ACCURATE.
THESE CARS ALL HAVE DRIVETRAINS AND ALL ARE IN NEED OF EXTENSIVE RESTORATION.
I will do my best to describe the condition of the cars and I am certainly not listing them here to pull one over on someone. The convertible tops are all in disrepair although most of the parts are there. I just lack the time and storage space to get the restorations going and have decided to test the market for possible liquidation.
THESE CARS WILL ALL NEED TO BE TRAILERED AND SHIPPING IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION.
The red Alpine is a 1967 and does not have a title. It has a Parrish Plastics hardtop that needs extensive work. It has converted spindles with knock-off wire wheels. The engine spins. It is fairly complete and somewhat solid. It needs floor holes and fenders repaired, among other things. It does not have seats or bumpers.
The white Alpines are a 1964 and a 1966. One has a hardtop and one does not. They both have fairly complete interiors. The one that has the hardtop appears to be solid. I was told the engine is stuck. The other has what I would deem as an unrepairable body. It has extensive rot in the center of the unibody and appears to be starting to fail. Having said that, I was told the engine is good and it has many, many good parts. The registration on the tags of these cars show 1970s and 1980s stickers and judging by their condition/patina, I would guess this is accurate. They both come with titles.
Please e-mail with any questions you may have or if you would like specific pictures taken. I will require a $500 non-refundable deposit via Paypal from the winning bidder at auction end with full payment due within a week. I will assist with pickup/loading in any way that I can.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as I have them listed locally as well.
Thanks for your interest and happy bidding.
