Vehicle description
Very low mileage, absolutely no rust 1966 Studebaker Commander.
I bought this car from the second owner and he bought it from a couple that drove it very little. The previous owner did a lot of engine work - aluminum heads, dual exhaust, 4 barrel carburetor, upgraded camshaft and more. He also installed a 700R4 transmission and moved the shifter to the floor.
I put in a new interior - new carpet, new seat covers ( Daytona style ), new door panels, new window and door handles, new seat belts, new wood steering wheel, new console, re-dyed the dash ( no cracks at all ). original headliner is in excellent condition.
I upgraded the front brakes to discs and installed a power boost system.
I also installed American racing wheels and Goodyear T/A radial tires with less than 500 miles.
I have driven this as a " sleeper " muscle car, however, some may want to paint it. It would make a beautiful show car with a paint job.
This is a rare, low mileage, zero rust little known muscle car. Hard to find in this condition and upgrades.
Over 12 K invested in the car.
