This California1966 Porsche 912 SWB, 5-gauge, 4 speed example was purchased from world renownPorsche restorer David Bustamente of Early Porsche Parts ( https:/ www.facebook.com/earlyporscheparts ). There, just prior to my purchase, the engine was removed and thoroughlyinspected (heads, valves, etc) and engine was cleaned up and new mount bushingsinstalled. The original wheels were exchanged for period correct 14” FUCHSwheels, Porsche logo on lower doors and a restoration of the steering columncover. It was then private closed carrier transported to Fort LauderdaleFlorida where it as lived for the past 5 years in a temperature-controlledgarage under a custom cover. This Porsche has only been driven once a montharound the neighborhood, in the sun, never in the rain and to the occasionalPorsche club events (total of 1,579 miles in my ownership). A battery tenderkeeps things ready for immediate starts and swiss clockwork performance everytime. I’m always amazed at how quickly it starts and how well it runs even whena month runs into 5 weeks, the engineering is absolutely timeless. More pics available upon request
