The previous owner had this car for 33 years and it was just time to sell. Yes it was tough making the decision to sell but this example completed a subsequent refurbishment in the mid 90’ with about 6-7000 miles a year since. Restoration included body repairs and a repaint, as well as a rebuilt transmission and cylinder head, a replacement soft top, and a stainless-steel exhaust system. Just under 51k miles are shown on the five-digit odometer, which have been rolled over once. European-spec headlights have been installed, and the chrome bumpers are equipped with overriders. The 2.3-liter inline-six is mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. A replacement engine block have been installed with about 95k miles on the odometer after the oil pan was damaged by a pothole under prior ownership. The transmission and the cylinder head were reportedly rebuilt approximately 20 years ago. An oil change and lube service were completed in October 2019, and new Bilstein shocks were fitted earlier this year.
