Vehicle description
Oldsmobile 442 in running project form. Has 66 67 era correct 400 442 engine. C heads. Had 4 barrel carb, I installed the tri carb. Original Oldsmobile, not a repop. . Muncie 4 speed. Hurst shifter, as well as original Hurst shifter included. I"ve purchased a lot of new expensive stuff. Rechromed restored front and rear bumpers, new tail light lenses, new grill, Ron Roth restored dash and gauges, correct original carbs for a 66 tri carb set up. New linkage too. Original distributor but converted to pertronix electronic ignition. New core support bushings. All new rubber brake lines, new brake shoes and hardware, wheel cylinders . New flywheel, center force clutch. U joints, exhaust. Has new tail light lenses and a pair of great headlight bezels too. No leaks. Runs friggen great. Has W30 exhaust manifolds with 2.5 inch outlets. 2.5 inch exhaust all the way out.
I"ve lost my business due to insurance and their God complex. So I"m liquidating stuff to satisfy some debts. It does not have original front seats, tho I have a set of 65, or 66 buckets that need restored. 2 tone paint and 2 tone interior. This is a real 442. No I"m not a reseller. Not a restoration guy. It has some dings and dents. Bought new in Albuquerque New Mexico, and I bought it from there, brought it to my home in Texas. Has a rusty truck floor. And seems to have a leak around the rear window. I haven"t pulled trim. Has a spot of rust in the rear sail or cove of rear window. Not sure how to ship, I work full time for a company, plus another 25 to 30 hours.
