1966 Jaguar MK 2
I purchased this car about approximately one year ago. It’s my favorite Jaguar model, but my plans changed and I decided no tot keep it. I know very little about the car, other than it came with a large stack of paid receipts from an restorer. Looks like work was done around 2018.
I took the car to a “buyers inspection” after I received it in Florida. All points Including the following were addressed, fixed or replaced.
Fuel tank removed and flushed, fuel lines cleaned.
Replaced fuel pump.
Both carburetors taken apart and cleaned.
Replaced front and rear crankshaft seals.
New exhaust system.
New battery.
Still has typical oil leaks. Steering gear box appears new, but still has a minor leak. I try to drive it every week, and so far it has had good oil pressure along with good water temperature. This is not a show car, but it’s a fun driver and a very well put together car.
