Vehicle description
For sale is my completely restored, documented, 1966 Chevy II Nova L79. The documentation consists of the original protect-o-plate and a notarized letter from the original owner telling the great story about why he purchased this 1966 L79. The current motor is not the original born with motor, but is a 1966 L79, code F0218ZI, casting date B126, casting block number 3791362. The engine was built with the correct components including, but not limited to, the heads, exhaust manifolds, restored 3245 carburetor which is the correct original carburetor for the 1966 L79 4 speed. If you look closely at the detailed photos, you will see that no expense has been spared on this restoration. The paint and body work are outstanding - as seen in the clarity of the reflection in the paint. Just to mention a few of the restored items that are not normally done on what a lot of sellers call a complete restoration are: all chrome including vent window frame post, hub cap spinners, center horn ring on the steering wheel, the original dual snorkel air cleaner have all be re-chromed. All the stainless, window trim, lower rocker molding has been professionally polished. The seat belts, steering wheel itself, hub caps, window trim have been professionally restored. The trunk molding (original), hood molding has been professionally restored. All new wire harnesses. New Gardner exhaust. I can go on and on about what has been done to restore this 1966 L79 Chevy II Nova, however, the photos will speak for themselves. If you have any questions or would like additional photos, please ask.
