Up for sale is a 1966 Corvette Convertible
This car is equipped with Air Conditioning, Power Brakes, 4-Speed Transmission, Teak Wheel, Tele Column, and Knock-off Wheels.
It came with a 327/300hp engine, which is still original to the car. Yes, it is matching numbers with the Original Engine, Transmission, and Rear End. The rear end ratio has been changed to 3:36 from 3:08 for a little better performance. The 3:08 gears will go with the car as well.
The body has been removed and a complete chassis restoration has been performed on a perfect Texas/California car. The engine was freshened up with new gaskets and seals, not needing rebuild. The transmission and rear end were both rebuilt. All new gas and brake lines were installed and front and rear suspension was all rebuilt. Many new parts went into the engine compartment to rebuild the air conditioning, carb, and misc. components.
The interior is complete with the two-tone Blue/White with an upgrade to Leather. All gauges, clock, and radio work, as they should. Door panels, seat upholstery, and carpet have all been redone with the best available parts. The white convertible top is also new.
The body and paint was done awhile back and has recently been re-sanded and buffed. There has been some damage from years ago and repaired in a very good way.
The car runs and drives very well and all components work, as they should. With the air conditioning and the other options, this car is and will continue to be very collectable.
