About this vehicle This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette 427 L68 is an original with updates to the exterior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 4 years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives. Vehicle Details Up for auction is a Beautiful 1966 Corvette 427 Stingray convertible! Not just any other stingray it’s a wide body done from Chevy back in 1968. With its fully built 427 original motor the vette has a bigger cam,heads,lifters,intake,and carb it was raced back in the 70s by the original owner dukes of Hazzard star John Schneider. I’m the third owner of the car purchased it from Schneiders friend The color combo of the car is the original color just had a fresh paint job and new interior installed which included seats, door panels, dash, carpet, and top. All of the chrome on the car is original and the wheels are original. Just installed a brand new set of BFG radial T/A tires and had the serviced and tuned And it runs absolutely amazing. With the original four-speed transmission this car has a lot of get up and go. With the side mounted exhaust it makes a presentence wherever you are trust me you will be heard. As a safety feature the car does have four wheel disc brakes for a much better stopping power.
