Vehicle description

About this vehicle This 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Hardtop is a modified vehicle with updates to the drivetrain. The owner has had it for 3 years. The vehicle needs work. Seller"s Notes Please feel free to message me with any questions or additional info needed. Vehicle Details NOTE FROM BUILDER OF THE CAR: I built that car in 1997. Then I traded it to a guy in Big Bear Ca back in 2010 for a rolling 56 Chevy I built. You can look it up on my page. It should have assuming it’s still all in there, stock boxed lower control arms on the rearend with adjustable uppers. A one inch rear sway bar and summit drag shocks with cut upper moroso springs in the rear. The gears are 3:31 ratio. Gold moroso u-joint gurdles. Black plastic 12 gallon fuel cell in the trunk with home made battery tray made of angle iron. The back seat I took out and put a sheet of aluminum and covers it with carpet. Plastic buckets with covers on sliders bolted straight to the floor. 3” exhaust with coffin mufflers hooker super comp headers 1-3/4” hughs turbo 400 , jegs 2700 converter and hurst pro stick shifter. Engine is a 383 4 bolt main scat rods, stock steel crank, speed pro flat top pistons. Comp cams extreme energy 284/296 with 507/510 lift. S/R torker heads with port work done roller rockers, strip dominator intake and Holley 600 double pumper carb. Flex-a-lit 16” electric single fan with 3-1/2” shroud. Griffin aluminum radiator and the trans cooler should be mounted on two pieces of flat stock on the radiator core support. How’s the rust? Anything been replaced? I remember it needed trunk, rear floor pans. Bottom of fenders, bottom of doors and passenger side rear quarter behind the rear wheel. Needed the package tray replaced as well on the rear window.
