Vehicle description
Vehicle Details For your consideration I have a 1966 Chevelle Malibu non SS. She is a 136 VIN vehicle. She currently has a 305 - 4 barrel -V8 Chevy motor which fires right up and runs strong. The block numbers indicate its a 1985 Chevrolet motor. I honestly don’t know what the milage is on the motor. ( I bought it used ). The automatic transmission was purchased with the motor and I believe is a 350. The trans runs fine through 1st and 2nd but at about 50-55 mph won’t shift to 3rd. I’ve only driven her locally at a slow speed rate for years, so I never had the trans looked at. It didn’t matter to me. The chassis has roughly 160K on her. The frame is solid. Rear shocks have been replaced a number of years ago and are fine. The horn doesn’t work. She has drum brakes on all four wheels and brake booster has been added. She has recently been repainted. Its a 1967 Chevy color called Royal Plum. The roof is black. A crack in paint has recently developed on the top drivers side fender.( can be seen in pics). The front bucket seats are from a 60s Impala and have seat covers on them. The back seat is a cream colored cloth taped down at the top to keep the stuffing in. The back seat has seat covers as well and they look good. In recent years I’ve had a new headliner installed, a new windshield and brand new carpeting. The dash pad is also new. Has an Alpine CD player and Alpine speakers in the back. Working old school tach. Attached to steering column. She was a shift on the column car, but I converted it to a console floor shift. The shift handle is factory but the console is a new after market unit. The lights for the console have not been hooked up yet but the wiring is all there. The floor pans are still in good shape. The trunk floor pan and gas tank have been replaced. The rims are old school aluminum slots. Front tires are newer, the back 60s are brand new. Oh, years ago the fan cut into the radiator, a local shop fixed the leaking and its still used today, just a little smooshed looking. I’m trying to be as honest as I can, but I might have forgotten something. Bottom line is She’s no SS Concours, but she is a solid working mans Chevelle Malibu. And I’ll probably regret selling her. I’ve had her about 16 years. Her name is Ruthie. This vehicle will be sold as a pick up only here in Beaver Dam, Wi. sale. I am not shipping or delivering the vehicle. If you wish for a Transport Company to pick up and deliver to you, that’s fine, but YOU must make the arrangements. I will aid the Company as best as I can. Vehicle has a clean and clear Wisconsin title. Thanks for your interest. $16K reserve. Images Download the Motors app
