Vehicle description
1966 CAPRICE THAT RUNS AND DRIVES! This Caprice is pretty rare to have a 4 speed in it from the factory. Not sure how many came this way, but I bet it wasn"t many. It has a small block in it, not sure if it came that way. Just your basic small block that most people would replace with a big block one day. It runs and drives and has like new red line radials on the car. The interior is driver quality with strato-bucket seats that may have come out of an Impala or something, or recovered with a different pattern than the rest of the interior. It has the console with gauges. The oil pressure, and amp gauges work. It has a aftermarket temp gauge that works. Missing the console lid and center button on the rare tilt-telescopic steering column. The clock even works.
The car came from Texas and still has a Texas inspection sticker in the windshield, so a pretty solid car. Frame is rust free of course. Floors have only two patches in the rear floor pan only. Trunk has a patch welded in the center. Of course there is rust bubbles under the vinyl top like most have. I knocked around with my fist and didn"t find any spots rusted through. There is a little rust inside driver"s door jam by the A pillar. There is some dings and dents along with some clear coat coming off in spots.
The Caprice is a running, driving project that you can drive as you restore or make a nice daily driver out of it. Please call with any questions you have. 479two2eight43zero4 Thanks, Mike Please do NOT hit the "buy it now" without talking to me first.
