This year Cadillac offered the 429 ci engine and this one resides in an immaculate engine bay. It runs quiet and strong with 340 HP and 480 ft-lbs of torque moving this big car down the road easily. It was designed to be the perfect car for American highways in 1966, it will comfortably seat 6 and the trunk will hold all of your luggage while you float down the freeway in comfort. This all comes together in a beautifully styled Mist Blue 18.5 foot long body. The car was ordered with many options, and today, all power windows, power brakes, power steering, power door locks, power top, remote trunk release, AC climate control, AM/FM stereo radio, power antenna, power seats, telescoping and tilting steering wheel, and twilight sentinel all operate correctly. The triple stripe whitewall tires are correct and in excellent condition. The windshield has soft-ray glass, and the triple horns sound spectacular. The original owners manual, a shop manual, and a good quality car cover are also included. The windshield wipers work, but the washers do not. The Guide-Matic headlamp control is not operating nor does the automatic trunk pull down. The original owner paid $7066.39 for this car, the equivalent of $53,649 in today’s dollars.
