Vehicle description
I have been on Ebay since 1999 under my main username with over 1400+ feedbacks. I decided to create an account for only aircooled VWs and Porsche related parts, vehicles, or memorabilia.
For your consideration:
1966 Porsche 912, originally Bahama yellow (under white repaint)-A very rare and desirable color as only 6.5% were painted yellow. The engine runs, has fresh oil, fuel lines and a fuel filter, but the solex carburetors could use a cleaning or rebuild. Has early dueling elephant air cleaners. the fuel pump works. I have installed a clean and resealed (inside) fuel tank, with new german fabric fuel line front to rear. The original green guages glow nicely in the dash and most of the lights work. 12v system. just over 102k miles.
Car needs and new or used ignition switch, the brake calipers and master cylinder rebuilt or replaced (all included), as well as the front floor replaced or patched on driver’s side. No, you cannot safely drive the car home, it will have to be towed. Titled in my name and have owned the car for two years. The only reason, I am selling is to free up garage space. Note: rear quarter damage from a snow plow. I found a correct deck lid (though it is Irish Green under white), but will need some body work and a rear new grille. Interior is quite nice as is headliner. Engine number is 756153 Car located in Harrisonburg, Virginia. Car rolls & Steers. I may have two old tires to include on the two wheels lacking rubber. $1000 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours via paypal. An accepted offer constitutes a binding contract. The time to negotiate and ask questions if before making an offer. There will be no further negotiation after and offer is accepted. Buyet must communicate back to me upon acceptance of your offer. The balance is due within 3 days, either by bank wire or cash. No personal or bank checks. All fees are the buyers responsibility. Shipping is the buyers responsibility. I may be able to tow for a fee (after paid in full) if you are on the East Coast. I just sold my 1979 911 SC and the buyer from NJ was very happy with the car and my delivery. I welcome all serious bidders who will follow through, but you must be able to speak English in order to complete transaction.
