Vehicle description

Up for sale is a 1965 Volkswagen Beetle.
This isn"t your typical Bug though. While it looks aged on the outside, underneath is a different story. A complete pan off build was finished up in October with just a few hundred test miles on it.
The engine is a Subaru EJ22. Runs excellent. No leaks. You can monitor RPM, temperature, etc (basically everything you could see on a scan tool on a modern car) through the BlueDriver app. Lots of power over stock without sacrificing reliability. I have another Beetle with a mild 2332cc, and this car is much quicker.

Fresh freeway flyer transaxle. Highway speeds are no problem. New disc brakes up front and all new brake components in the rear. Sam Manis adjustable beam. Air shocks in the rear. The list goes on and on.
No actual rust besides the patina you see on the body. Underneath looks like a brand new car.
Radiator is mounted up front with dual electric fans with coolant lines run through the car. Very tidy. Through data logging with BlueDriver, it has shown that the fan kicks on right around 203 degrees. Haven’t seen any overheating issues. All electrical components of the swap are located in a vintage suitcase behind the back seat.
This is not a just a Bug that has had Subaru engine thrown in it. It was well thought out by the builder with a lot of attention to detail. Enjoy the looks of an old Beetle with the power and reliability of a newer car.
Negatives: Wipers are not working. Needs a radio block off plate or radio. Due to the fuel pump that was used, it can take a few turns of the key for it to start due to how it send fuel back to the tank over a factory Subaru pump.
