Vehicle description
This 1965 FJ Land Cruiser is a one of a kind. Its recent restoration wasn"t just a coat of paint. This rare find comes with a nicely built 350 V8 coupled to a New Process 435 4 speed with suspension that is certain to get you in and out of the toughest terrain if you choose to use in that fashion. Its current use has been more of a warehouse conversation piece and a little bit of weekend joy riding. Maybe a car show here or there. It has not seen mud or rocks since its restore. There is virtually no rust on this vehicle. It comes with a full soft top and full soft doors. The speakers mounted to the roll cage are bluetooth technology and work great.
Now for the question everyone wants to know, what does it need? ? The odometer and speedometer would be the 2 biggest issues. Neither work.
What works? ? Just about everything else is in good to great working order. The lights, gauges, winch, 4wd, seat belts, and of course the drive train is all in great working order.
Although I would never suggest a cross country travel in a classic car or SUV, I would not be afraid to take this FJ anywhere.
What could be done to make it better? ? It still needs boots for the transmission shifter and 4wd shifter It would add an awesome touch to add power disc brakes The rest will be up to the imagination and needs of the buyer but I would say there"s really not much left to do except get in, drive and enjoy the looks you will get. Its a true show stopper! !
Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
