Vehicle description
1965 Shelby Cobra Factory Five MK III. 2nd owner. The car was professionally built in 2006 and was a complete kit meaning it came with everything but the 5.0 Ford 302 and 5 speed transmission out of a fox body Ford Mustang. I have owned the car since 2017 and ready to move on to something else. The car has the Factory Five 3 link suspension rear suspension 8 inch Mustang solid rear axle with Koni Coil-overs with adjustable tubular control arms and 350 lb. springs. The front suspension Coil-over kit for Koni dampers including spring hat, threaded-over kit for Koni dampers including 500 lb. black powder coated springs. Adjustable upper control arms with ball joints and l ower tubular control arms with ball joints and fasteners.
Things I have added since owing the car. 65 MM Throttle Body EGR delete Ford Racing Valve Covers New plugs and wires New distributer cap Ceramic coated BBK Headers New 180 degree thermostat and housing New Firestone Indy 500 Firehawk Tires Front tires 245/45R17 Rear tires 275/40R17 Also have a new Milodon Oil Pan not installed Noah full car cover Tonneau cover The car is a blast to drive and always gets thumbs up when on the road. The car is not perfect and have shown the paint issues in the pictures. Remember this is a 14 year old paint job. It is mechanically sound with the exception of a few oil leaks that should be solved with the new oil pan. I have priced to sell and believe it is fair with the current issues that need to be addressed at some point. Also, you cannot build one for the price I am asking. Please feel free to ask any questions or request additional pictures. The car is tilted as 2006 Assembly vehicle. Note: The car does have a small lien left on it. Thanks and happy bidding.
