1965 Factory Five Ford Shelby Cobra. This is a Factory Five Shelby Cobra kit car, or fiberglass replica. The car was built in 2004 and has a Ford 302 and a T-5 transmission. I never ran the car on the dyno, but the engine builder claimed that it pulled 401 hp on the dyno. I have no way to claim that number, but it has plenty of power and runs very well. The car has 14276 miles since it was built. It runs and drives great. The car gets tons of attention wherever it goes. It has Kumho tires all around. 285 40Z 17s on the rear and 245 45z 17s on the front. The car is buy and drive. I have had my time with the car and there are other endeavors out there so, it’s time to move on. The car is mostly great. The bad would be: 1. In front of the rear tires, always a bad spot for Cobras, has some rock chips. They make a product to cover the bad spots without re-painting. ( I posted a pic of it). 2. The clocks light is not as bright as the other gauges. (I posted a pic of it). 3. It does have some slight paint flaws from driving, ie rock chips and some very fine scratches. I believe that a fine buffing would take care of most of the imperfections. It’s always been a very reliable. All of the lights work, gauges, horn, signals, and wipers all work. Hood, doors, and trunk open as they should. I have a clear title in my name and it is titled as a 1965. Please, I ask there to be no tire kickers or test drivers. Thank you, but I am not interested in trades either. Serious buyers only please. Yes, I would like to see the car move on, but I am in no rush to do so. And, I must insist that all funds clear before the car is transported. I have a great record with Ebay, and I do not intend to blemish that.
