Vehicle description

1965 Pontiac GTO. solid body. original quarters, rockers, floors and trunk. engine is a 1971 400. car from factory was a 389 tri power 4 speed with built in dash tach. the engine and tri power is not the factory setup nor is the the 4 speed muncie transmission. the engine is stock and runs fine. the tri power carbs was put on 14 yrs ago and carbs was new. car has set in my garage for ten yrs and only gets started once a yr so i"m sure carbs are going to need freshened up but they do not leak gas. i helped build this car w my dad 14 yrs ago. he passed away ten yrs ago and the car has"nt been on the rd since. don"t wanna sell the car but car needs sold so theirs no dispute between us siblings if something happens to our mother. i would love to redo the car but don"t wanna put my money into it and then have to fight over it. paint on car is not perfect but looks great for a daily driver. all the interior is original. passenger seat is in great shape as well as the back seat but driver seat is pretty well shot. carpet is faded and will need another headliner. car is the original mayfair maize color for the paint code. have the PHS documentation that will go w the car to prove its a true GTO and 389 tri power 4 speed w no power steering or power brakes. car has all drum brakes. i bought the disc brake setup for it four yrs ago and will let it go w the car for a additional 400.00. i have"nt never put them on since that"s when the sisters and brother started to dispute who was going to get the car. hate to see the car go but would help keep peace w the family and hopefully mom will take the money and blow every penny of it on a cruise and gamble the rest away in the slot machines so the siblings wont see a dime of it. i"m currently building a 1969 judge and really have no room for the 65 and i"ve never been real crazy over a 65 even though that was my dads favorite yr and has had close a hundred different ones he had built. car is not perfect but make a great daily driver. who wants a trailer queen? not going any less than the asking price. text or call for more information. thank you
