1965 Plymouth / For sale. For Sale, As Is. My 1965 Plymouth Sport Fury with 48,959 original miles. This is a project car. I have owned this car for the past 20 years. It has been off the road for the past 18 years, stored in our garage.
Car does not roll easy. All tires are completely dry rotted and do not hold air I rebuilt the 318 polydome engine 18 years ago. Put 500 mile on the rebuilt engine, when catastrophic failure happened, a piston broke at the ring land and wrapped one of the rods around the crank shaft. The crankshaft has been magnafluxed. The engine block has been magnafluxed and pressure tested. It tested ok; the block was bored .090 over in preparation to build a 402 stroker engine. The block still needs to be honed, and is still in pieces. The cylinder heads have been ported and polished. It has probably been 10 years now since my wife and I were going to restore the Plymouth and put it back on the road. The driver side door has been disassembled, both front seat were taken out, the center console is been unbolted. The front grill, and head light assemblies have been removed. Everything was bagged and tagged. The car comes with 4 plastic totes with all the parts to the car.
There is a small dent in the front left fender. There is a Dent on the driver’s side lower quarter panel, and rust in both left and right lower rear quarters panels.
